A single artwork image is one page, but a printed sheet has two sides. For single-sided coloring books, adding a blank or backing page after each artwork page doubles the count and keeps every artwork page on a front-facing side.
Recommended workflow
- Count every page that will appear in the PDF: title page, instructions, artwork pages, backing pages, and ending pages.
- If using one backing page after every artwork page, count one artwork plus one backing page as a pair.
